International Energy Transition Week Nigeria

ESEF is the premier energy event in West Africa. It was instituted in 2015 by ECREEE to support investment in sustainable energy anchored in strong policy initiatives of the ECOWAS member states.

ESEF is a demand-driven and result-oriented event, which aims to facilitate investments in the regional renewable energy sector. The forum promotes cooperation and partnerships to accelerate the uptake of a viable market for sustainable energy solutions in the ECOWAS. ESEF is also a platform for improving the policy and regulatory landscape for private sector investment through engagement between ECOWAS policy makers, regional and international private sector players, and financial institutions.

ESEF 2022 aims to catalyse business partnerships, exchange information and raise awareness about the progress made by ECOWAS members in the region on SDG-7.

ESEF 2022 is supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), and the Spanish Agency for international Development Cooperation (AECID), in partnership with IRENA.

ESEF 2022 is a paperless event. See full details of the agenda on the website.
